About Silva Beshi

Hi, I’m Silva — a graphic designer who loves turning a blank page into something engaging, meaningful and beautiful. Since 2019, I’ve been designing across branding, digital, and print. I started out as an apprentice at L&Q where I quickly developed practical skills, learned to manage multiple projects, and delivered designs to tight deadlines while studying the fundamentals of design at Central Academy.

I was later promoted to Junior Designer, taking on more external projects where I could push my creative boundaries while working more independently. From there, I joined a management consultancy as an Associate Designer, where the fast-paced, collaborative environment pushed me to design quickly while maintaining high standards.

In 2024, I took time to travel and explore new perspectives, completing a few freelance design projects along the way. That experience not only gave me fresh creative inspiration but also confirmed how much I value design as a career.

What excites me most is using design to tell visual stories, solve problems, and make an impact - whether that’s refreshing a brand identity or creating visuals that connect with people. I’m now focused on bringing that energy into a collaborative team and continuing to grow as a designer.

  • Grew up in a small rural village in Albania with cows, sheep, chickens, and a cheeky dog that would try to take my food whenever he had the chance

  • At university, I survived on beans and either overcooked or undercooked rice because I didn’t know how to cook — now cooking and baking have become one of my favourite ways to unwind and ground

  • I used to be very socially anxious and found it hard to speak up in groups. Travelling for a year challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, and in the process discovered so much about myself, others, and different cultures. Now I feel at home in social settings and love building connections with people.
